The Challenge

During a consultation with our lighting specialists, SPL Foods revealed issues with the aging lighting system across their entire facility. A comprehensive site inspection and lighting consultation conducted by our lighting consultant confirmed extensive use of outdated sodium gas-charged lamps. These traditional lamps are known for their low light output (82 lumens per watt) and short lifespans (around 20,000 hours), resulting in high energy consumption for SPL Foods.

The Solution

Our lighting consultant proposed recommendations for replacing the outdated lighting system with CEMA Lighting’s innovative 200+ lumen per watt Super Lumen Circular Highbay luminaires. These luminaires provide a significant improvement over their existing system. They deliver a brighter, whiter light distribution, boasting a lifespan of 100,000 hours – five times that of the previous lamps. Additionally, these luminaires achieve superior energy efficiency, consuming 67% less energy compared to SPL Foods’ current system. This translates to substantial cost savings on their energy bills.
