The Challenge

Built in the 1980s, Dronfield Leisure Centre struggled with outdated, inefficient lighting impacting their energy bills and the environment. Tasked with finding a sustainable solution, North East Derbyshire District Council partnered with CEMA Lighting to completely revamp the centre’s illumination system.

The Solution

Following an onsite lighting consultation with our knowledgeable lighting specialist CEMA’s expert team meticulously installed our energy-efficient LED solution throughout the facility. The main sports hall received a game-changing upgrade with Super High-Output Highbay luminaires, boasting an unparalleled 200 lumens per watt. This translated to brighter, more vibrant lighting while maximising energy savings. The changing rooms were outfitted with IP65 LED Linear Batten Lights, ensuring clear, bright illumination that wouldn’t break a sweat. Finally, energy-efficient decorative Halo Panels bathed the corridors and office areas in a warm, welcoming glow.
